Standard Mattress Sizes – Important Information
Clients are required to measure and confirm bed dimensions in centimeters (cm) prior to placing an order.
Common descriptions such as 3 x 6, 4 x 6, 5 x 6, or 6 x 6 are informal and approximate and do not represent official mattress standards.
In accordance with Kenyan industry practice and internationally recognized British standards, the accepted standard mattress lengths are:
190cm (approximately 6.23ft, not 6ft) – Standard length
200cm (approximately 6.56ft, not 6ft) – International/premium standard length
At Dr. Mattress, we manufacture both standard and custom sizes to meet client requirements. However:
Mattresses with lengths of 190cm or 200cm are classified as standard sizes
Any dimensions outside these measurements are considered custom (non-standard) sizes, attract a customization surcharge, and are subject to special warranty conditions.
Important:
All orders are manufactured based on the dimensions provided by the client.
Dr. Mattress shall not be held liable for incorrect measurements submitted at the time of order.
We strongly recommend verifying all measurements in centimeters to ensure accuracy and proper fit before confirming your purchase.
